§ Mr. GoodladA member of the British embassy staff last visited East Timor on 27–29 June 1995. He had meetings with a number of East Timorese leaders, covering the range of Timorese opinion.
We have regular meetings with East Timorese representatives in East Timor, in Indonesia and elsewhere. For instance, I met Ramos Horta and Abilio Araujo, at their request, earlier this year in London.
