§ Mr. GoodladThe situation in Burma remains of great concern. Our policy and that of our European Union partners is one of critical dialogue with the State Law and Order Restoration Council. We have made it clear that normalisation of our relations depends on progress in key areas, including human rights and political and economic reform.
