§ Mr. SackvilleThe Government have no plans to legislate beyond the proposals they published in 1990 in their White Paper "Registration: proposals for change", Cm 939. These proposals include making records of births, deaths and marriages over 75 years old available to public inspection. The Government will introduce a Bill when parliamentary time allows.
