§ Mr. NorrisThe guidelines followed when using executive search agencies to fill vacancies are those issued by the Office of Public Service and Science in its publication, "Executive Searchlight". Executive search agencies are employed where it is considered by the Department that a wider field of applicants is required for a particular post than might be attracted by an advertisement alone.
