To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what the figures for house repossessions have been in each of the last three years.

Mr. Moss

Repossessions statistics are not provided by the mortgage-lending institutions on a regional basis and therefore are not available for Northern Ireland.

However, I understand that the enforcement of judgments office issued 683 orders for repossessions in 1992, 492 in 1993 and 468 in 1994.
