To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when a decision is expected to be taken on the application—REF/C/7426—made to the United Kingdom post in Islamabad by Mrs. Andleeb H. Khan to join her husband in the United Kingdom.

§ Mr. Baldry
I refer the hon. Member to the letter of 19 January 1995 to him from the migration and visa correspondence unit of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
I have asked the high commission at Islamabad for details of any further progress in her application and shall arrange for the hon. Member to receive a substantive reply from MVCU as soon as possible.
