§ Mr. Nicholas BakerThe Data Protection Registrar is responsible for administering the Data Protection Act 1984. I understand that statistical information about complaints is not kept on a geographical or county basis. The latest available information relating to complaints and prosecutions—including details, in the case of the latter, of the court concerned—can be found in the 10th report of the Data Protection Registrar, laid before Parliament on 5 July 1994.
