§ Mr. HagueInformation on sickness absence rates can be supplied in the form requested only for 1993, the latest year for which figures are available. The average number of working day's absence per staff year due to sickness was as follows:

In 1992, the average number of working days lost throughout the Department due to sickness was 9.3 and in 1991 the number was 11.2.
