To ask the Secretary of State for Education what the Government are doing to assist students in further education who do not wish to fall into debt through student loans and yet are unable to exist on student grants.

Student loans are not available for further education. It is Government policy to provide support for students in higher education through grant and student loan. Loans are provided on generous terms. It is for individual students to decide whether or not to take out their loan entitlement.
