§ Mr. Blunkett
To ask the Secretary of State for Education how much money was spent in each of the last five years on clerical support for teachers in schools.

§ Mr. Robin Squire
The table gives local education authorities' expenditure on administrative and clerical staff, and education support staff in LEA-maintained nursery, primary, secondary and special schools, from 1988–89 to 1992–93, the latest year for which figures are available.
