§ Mr. HardyTo ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to her answer of 11 January,Official Report, column 145, if she will consult with the relevant professional bodies in regard to the need to use suitable X-ray film for the detection of chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
§ Mr. SackvilleThe Department would need more information before it could have a meaningful discussion with the relevant professional bodies. If the hon. member would care to write giving full details consideration will be given to opening discussions with the profession.
