asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will publish in the Official Report, a consolidated table showing the council tax payable per household in each band group, taking into account the transitional relief for each London borough and council in Essex in 1993–94 and 1994–95, and whether they will give the party in control of each council.

These figures are based on information provided by authorities as at December 1993 for 1993–94 figures, and as at June 1994 for 1994–95 figures. No allowance is made in these estimates for the effect of transitional relief or council tax benefit.

The political control of each council at the end of December 1994 is also given in the table below.
