§ Mr. BowisThe main source of national health service funding is and will continue to be local health purchasers who place contracts for assessment. In some cases, regional health authorities have made grants to such centres under their medical innovations budget. The future of such budgets beyond the reorganisation of RHAs under the Health Authorities Bill anticipated for April 1996 is currently being considered by the national health service executive.
