To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many intensive care beds there are in each of the health trusts in Wales.

At 30 June 1994—the latest date for which information is available—the number of staffed beds allocated to intensive care was as follows:

Mr. Richards

It is for individual health authorities and hospitals to agree on its provision of intensive care beds in the light of local needs and circumstances.
