§ Mr. Malone[holding answer 13 January 1995]: General practitioner fundholding practices receive additional allowances for directly managing their funds and purchasing care on their patients' behalf. These costs represent about 2 per cent. of budgets set and amounted 428W to £14.1 million in 1991–92, £29.5 million in 1992–93 and £49.5 million in 1993–94. Figures for 1994–95 are not yet available.
It is not possible to disaggregate other administration costs from total costs.
