§ Mrs. BrowningThe infant formula and follow-on formula regulations 1995 have been laid before Parliament today and will come into force on 1 March 1995 to implement the relevant EC legislation.
Following consultation, the Government have concluded that the current controls on advertising, which have been operated voluntarily by the industry, should be maintained where possible. We have therefore sought to incorporate the existing arrangements into the new regulations.
