§ Mr. Spellar
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs which airlines have been granted preferred carrier status for civil servant travel to overseas destinations.

§ Mr. Baldry
The preferred carrier for any particular civil servant's travel will depend on the circumstances of the journey concerned and value for money. For regular requirements my Department has entered into arrangements with:

British Airways

British Midland

Virgin

Austrian Airlines

Lufthansa

School Fees
