§ Mr. MaloneChairmen of district health authorities are remunerated annually within the range of £15,125 to £19,285 according to the authority's revenue budget. Chairmen of family health services authorities are remunerated annually within the range £10,845 to £12,605 according to population size.
A commissioning agency is not a separate legal entity and exists only as a managerial arrangement on the part of the statutory authorities concerned. The chairman of Sunderland district health authority acts as chairman of the commissioning agency.
