§ Mr. CurryAs I announced in a parliamentary reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Hayes and Harlington (Mr. Dicks) on 5 December 1994,Official Report, columns 9–10, a second bidding round of the single regeneration budget will be launched later this year. Some £240 million will initially be available for round two, with £40 million of this available in 1996–97 for early funding of approved bids. As with round one, we shall expect good quality, deliverable bids which effectively address local needs.
