Mr. Chidgey

To ask the Secretary of State for Education what proportion of the Further Education Funding Council's budget supports institutions in Hampshire.

Mr. Boswell

The total amount of recurrent funding allocated by the Further Education Funding Council for the academic year 1994–95 is £2,610.8 million, of which £109.5 million was allocated to institutions in Hampshire.

The total annual budget for the Further Education Funding Council for the financial year 1994–95 is £2,814.5 million.
