§ Mr. SackvilleThe information to be entered in a register of births is prescribed by regulations. This includes the mother's address. A birth certificate is a certified true copy of the entry in the register and it is not therefore possible to omit from the certificate information contained in the register. We have no plans to change statutory requirements.
