§ Mr. RedwoodThe financial balances detailed in my answer of 14 February were taken from the annual accounts of grant-maintained schools in Wales for the year ending 31 March 1994. According to financial 455W outturn statements for 1993–94 prepared by local education authorities under section 42 of the Education Reform Act 1988, locally maintained schools held the following balances.
