§ Mr. KynochTaiwanese inward investment in Europe has generally been very low, and there are currently no manufacturing projects in Scotland which are Taiwanese owned. However, Locate in Scotland continues to be in touch with many Taiwanese companies, principally in the electronics sector. LIS is currently reviewing its operations in relation to Taiwan, taking into account the possibility that projects may he more likely to yield joint venture and licensing arrangements rather than direct inward investment.
