§ Mr. KynochI refer my hon. Friend to the answer given by my right hon. and learned Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer to my hon. Friend the Member for Gosport (Mr. Viggers) on 2 February,Official Report, columns 1199–1200. In 1993–94 the identifiable general Government expenditure per head in Scotland was £4,185. This figure is 16.8 per cent. higher than the equivalent UK figure.
§ 39. Mr. David ShawTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the uses to which public money is put in Scotland.
