To ask the Lord President of the Council (1) how many letters were received in the Department from hon. Members last month;

(2) how many letters were sent to hon. Members last month by each Minister in the Department.

In the course of January, I received from hon. Members 12 letters, some of which were dealt with informally, and sent seven. I have today replied to the hon. Member's own letter of 20 January.
