To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many letters he has received in favour of the banning of the export of veal calves to the EU.

In the past six months we have received more than 20,000 letters on the subject of the transport of live animals for slaughter or further fattening, a high proportion of which call for such a ban.
