§ Mr. Robin SquireThe continuing expansion of the GM sector—from 20 schools five years ago to well over 1,000 today—gives growing numbers of parents the opportunity to send their children to grant-maintained schools, both primary and secondary. We shall continue to foster that expansion, including through the distribution of factual information about grant-maintained status and how to attain it.
