To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make it his policy to allow local authorities to submit the classroom costs of delivery of general national vocational qualifications in schools for support from the European social fund; on what grounds the same rule is not applied to similar qualifications delivered by the further education sector, via the Further Education Funding Council; and if he will make a statement.
