§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales, pursuant to his answer of 15 February,Official Report, column 707, if the decision not to allow health authorities in Wales to appoint W. S. Atkins and Partners to major new commissions without prior reference to the Department related exclusively to the out-of-court settlement in cognisance of design faults at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor or was additional to the out-of-court settlement in relation to faults in the design of the University hospital in Wales, Cardiff.
§ Mr. RedwoodThe decision not to allow W. S. Atkins and Partners to be appointed to major new contracts without prior agreement was made in the light of the out-of-court settlement involving design faults at Ysbyty Gwynedd.
