HC Deb 16 February 1995 vol 254 c812W
Ms Jowell

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many people were removed from hospital waiting lists in each regional health authority in each year since 1991.

Mr. Malone

The available information is shown in the table. Removals are patients removed from a waiting list for in-patient or day-case treatment for any reason other than admission for treatment from that list. They include patients who have been admitted for treatment as emergencies for the same condition or at hospitals other than those on whose waiting lists they were originally placed.
