§ Mr. MossIn Belfast and Londonderry the urban development grant scheme encourages private sector investment in development projects. Regeneration in town centres other than Belfast and Londonderry is encouraged through grant assistance, totalling around £4 million annually, for comprehensive development, environmental improvement, pedestrianisation and conservation schemes. My Department also administers and co-funds with the international fund for Ireland, IFI, the community regeneration improvement special programme.
