§ Mr. SoamesIn 1992, 229 personnel were dismissed from the services following court martial, summary proceedings or civilian court conviction for importing, supplying or possessing drugs. Figures for 1993 and 1994 are not yet available. Updated figures for Army and Royal Air Force personnel discharged administratively for drug offences are as follows:

- 1993–94: 200
- 1994–95: 122 (to date)
