HC Deb 15 February 1995 vol 254 cc708-9W
Mr. Morgan

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what consultations he has had with the chairman of the Cardiff Bay development corporation concerning the dispatch of tender documents for a buildings condition survey in relation to the impact of rising groundwater from the Cardiff bay barrage; how many applications were received by the 20 January deadline; what is the estimated survey cost in each of the next five years; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Redwood

None. My Department has authorised the provision of £5.04 million in total for expenditure on property condition surveys. The number of survey applications received and the estimated cost of surveys in each of the next five years are operational matters for the corporation and the chief executive will write to the hon. Member.
