To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the eligibility of United Kingdom citizens to apply for work permits into the United States of America.

Mr. Baldry

British citizens are eligible to apply to the United States immigration authorities for a United States work permit. Applications are generally based on a specific offer of employment from a United States employer.
