HC Deb 14 February 1995 vol 254 c637W
16. Mr. Hendry

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many people have been waiting for more than 12 months for hospital treatment in Tameside and Glossop; and if she will make a statement.

Mr. Malone

At 30 September 1994, of a total waiting list of 1,800 at the Tameside and Glossop acute services national health service trust, only 11 people—0.6 per cent—had been waiting for more than a year as opposed to a national average of 5.8 per cent. None had been waiting for more than two years.
