To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if the Liverpool police force has agreed compensation to be paid out to Mr. and Mrs. Walker of Toxteth following a raid on their house by mistake; and if he will make a statement.

This is a matter for the chief constable of Merseyside police. I am told, though, that a claim has been received and is being assessed.
