§ Mr. MaddenTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many non-United Kingdom nationals in each year, to date, have been(a) excluded from the United Kingdom, (b) are currently excluded from the United Kingdom and (c) have had exclusion orders withdrawn under the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989.

§ Mr. Howard[holding answer 7 February 1995]: Only persons who are not British citizens may be excluded from the United Kingdom under the 1989 Act: 14 persons are currently so excluded. Figures for each year since 1989 are shown in the following table:
