§ Mr. FreemanThe existing main development contracts for Eurofighter 2000 are not generally on a fixed price basis. As part of the reorientation of the project agreed by the Defence Ministers of the partner nations in December 1992, revised fixed price contracts are being negotiated with industry; these contracts are due to be placed shortly. It is the intention of the partner nations to agree with industry fixed or firm price contracts for the production investment and production phases of the project.
