To ask the Secretary of State for Education how many full-time equivalent teachers there were in each of the last 10 years.

The table shows the full-time equivalent number of teachers employed in the maintained nursery, primary, secondary and special sectors, including self-governing—GM—schools, in England as at January of each year.
