§ Mr. BowisLocal authorities were given indicative figures for the 1995–96 special transitional grant in letter LASSL (94) 11, copies of which are available in the Library. Final figures will be issued in due course. It is up to local authorities how much of their general funding they make available for community care services in addition to this.
