§ Mr. DorrellCentral Government support for the arts is channelled through the arts councils and, in England, the 10 regional arts boards. It is for these bodies to determine the balance of funding as between the various art forms and individual arts organisations. I understand, however, that the Arts Council is close to completing a major review of support for jazz in this country.
