To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many long-stay mental hospitals have been granted trust in(a) Strathclyde and (b) Scotland as a whole.

With the exception of the State hospital, all long-stay mental hospitals in mainland Scotland enjoy the benefits of NHS trust status.
