To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement about the A41 Aston Clinton bypass.

Recently we have received the inspector's report following a small public inquiry at the end of November 1994. My right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Transport and for the Environment are considering the inspector's recommendations and will announce their joint decision in due course.
