§ Mr. BowisThe information requested on residential accommodation (excluding nursing homes) is published in table Al of "Key indicators of local authority social services 1994", copies of which are available in the Library. Information on domiciliary services purchased by local authorities is included in table A3 of the same publication. More recent statistics on the number of residential accommodation places, excluding nursing homes at 31 March 1994 were published in table 1 of "Residential Accommodation in England 1994", Statistical Bulletin 1994/13, copies of which will be placed in the Library.
§ Mr. HinchliffeTo ask the Secretary of State for Health how many local authority residential care home beds were provided under part III of the National Assistance Act 1948 by local authority in each of the last five years.
