§ Mr. NelsonThe Government have sought agreement for their Trinidad terms proposals launched by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister in 1990. In December 1994, the Paris Club group of official creditors agreed to implement these terms in full. These offer reductions in the stock of eligible debt at a benchmark of 67 per cent. to the poorest, most severely indebted countries on a case by case basis.
