To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what are the figures for the Housing Corporation's allocations for co-operatives for the year 1995–96; and if he will make a statement on how these relate to their housing co-operative strategy.

The Housing Corporation's total allocation to housing co-operatives in 1995–96 is £9.514 million.

The projects supported reflect the policies set out in the corporation's "Housing Co-operatives Strategy" published in March 1993.
