§ Mrs. GillanOne hundred and fourteen responses to the consultation on commercial borrowing for GM schools were received. Of the responses which gave a view on the principle of commercial borrowing, 75 per cent. were in favour, including 80 per cent. of grant-maintained schools which responded. I have today deposited a policy briefing sheet summarising the responses in the Library.
