§ Mr. MaloneMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State's primary concern is to ensure that the quality of service for local people is at least maintained, and wherever possible improved. There will continue to he an accident service at Edgware hospital which will have close links with the new accident and emergency centre at Barnet general hospital. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has also asked Barnet health authority to examine with general practitioners their possible role in the new arrangements at Edgware.
