- 1. Final revenue cash limits for 1992–93 to 1994–95 were made by North East Thames regional health authority. In 1995–96 the initial revenue cash limit was made by North Thames regional health authority. In 1996–97 Secretary of State was responsible for making the planned initial revenue cash limit.
- 2. 1996–97 cash limits are planned only as formal cash limits cannot be made until the new health authority legally comes into existence on 1 April 1996.
- 3. For 1995–96 and 1996–97 figures recorded are initial cash limits and will exclude any in year adjustments made during the year. For 1992–93 to 1994–95, the figures are final cash limits and hence include any adjustments made in year.
