§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe amounts of unitary authorities' basic credit approvals for 1996–97, which allow borrowing for any capital purpose, are set out in the following table. In addition, authorities will receive supplementary credit approvals directed to specific programmes. Full details of these have not yet been finalised.
